Since 1984 the work of ministry has maintain a paramount place in our lives and commitment to God.  In 2011 the Lord impressed upon our hearts to release a new ministry assignment; therefore, we dropped a new anchor and birthed Sounds from Heaven Media Ministry.  Our mission is to develop disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ and establish a media ministry through all available technical avenues including social media.

Sounds from Heaven was founded on a divine heavenly inspiration from God.  We made a firm commitment to be led by the Holy Spirit with a sincere desire to emulate the ministry of the Lord Jesus with Miracles, Signs and Wonders.

Mission, Purpose and Intent

We take ordinary people just like Jesus did and disciple them into their destiny through

       1. Brock Bible College
      2. Sounds from Heaven Ministry
      3. Practical discipleship teachings that are life changing

​

 

We exist because of continual prayer and fasting which allows us to operate in the same power and authority that Jesus did with the manifestations of signs, miracles and wonders.

1. Allow people to experience the love of Jesus for themselves
2. The love of Jesus which is His goodness leads them to repentance
3. After repentance, baptism in Jesus name for the remission of their sins
4. Receive the free gift of the Holy Spirit

REV. JACQUELINE A. BROCK

Reverend Jacqueline A. Brock is the senior minister and Sounds from Heaven Media Ministry. She and husband, Baseball Hall of Famer Lou Brock, are ordained ministers. They have ministered in many church services, taught Bible classes, conducted seminars on marriage, officiated at weddings, and offered Bible-based counseling on women’s issues and Christian growth.

 

Sounds of Heaven Sermons streaming are available each Sunday through YouTube.

 

Reverend Jacqueline A. Brock is gifted with an apostolic anointing and gifting that enables her to speak and edify the body of Christ in this generation.  A multitude of souls have been saved, healed, delivered and filled with the Holy Spirit.  Many have gone on to establish powerful ministries. The couple is sought after as ministers of the Gospel, keynote speakers delivering inspirational, motivational and spiritual messages.
Their submission to the Word of God has given them a worldwide platform to speak into the lives of churched and un-churched people.

The Christian experiences of the Brocks, have led them to pray, receive communion, and bow at the Alter in a worship service along side the President of the United States and the First Lady. They have participated as preliminary speakers with in a T.D. Jakes Prison Ministry worship service at Angola Maximum Prison in Louisiana.  The Brocks have given testimonial messages at a Rev. Billy Graham Crusade, TBN, the 700 Club, and the Joyce Meyer Ministries. They conduct the worship service each year at the Baseball Hall of Fame Induction Weekend.

 

The Brocks now speak and appear many public, civic, charity events, radio and television shows.
 

Reverend Jacqueline A. Brock is the former Jacqueline Gaitor, of East St. Louis, Illinois.  She attended Lincoln High School in East St. Louis, Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL and received a bachelor Degree in Special Education. Reverend Jacqueline A. Brock, later receive her Doctorate of Divinity from Aenon Bible College.  She is committed to the work of the ministry with a calling to teach and evangelize.

The Brocks have spearheaded and successful completed a $5.2 million capital campaign for the completion of a 2500-seat church complex.

As a gifted base runner with fast feet:

 

• He is one of four players in modern baseball history to steal over 100 bases in a season. He holds numerous many World Series and National League records including:

 

• Most Stolen Bases in a 7-Game World Series with 7 steals (twice)

• Most Stolen Bases in back-to-back World Series with 14

• Most National League Stolen Bases in a Season with 118 steals

• Most National League Stolen Bases in a Career with 939.

• In 1985, Brock received baseball highest honor when he was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY

• Currently, Lou Brock is married to the former Jacqueline A. Gaitor of East St. Louis, Illinois. They are both ordained ministers.  They travel across America giving spiritual, inspirational, and motivation messages.  The Brocks have appeared on many TV Ministries including, TBN, Billy Graham Crusade, Joyce Meyer, and the 700 Club.

Lou Brock:

• Widely known throughout Major League Baseball as a gifted hitter with a quick bat and a gifted base runner with fast feet.

 

• Ranked in the Top 100 Greatest Major League Baseball Players of all-time among the nearly 19,000 men to play Major League Baseball

 

• Hit 4 homeruns in 3 World Series

 

• Of the nearly 19,000 players to play Major League Baseball, Brock is one of the 30 players to get 3,000 lifetime hits. 

 

• Brock statues are mounted at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, MO and Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO.

 

As a gifted hitter with a quick bat:

 

• Brock holds or co-holder of many World Series Records including:

• Most hits in a 7-Game World Series with 13 hits

• Most hits in back-to-back World Series with 25 hits

• Batted over .300 eight time in his 19-yr career

Meet Pastor Debra Turner

 

Pastor Debra Turner was raised in East. St. Louis, Illinois. She later moved to Alton, Illinois where she met and married her husband Roosevelt Turner of 25 years.  Together they have raised six lovely children all who are adults. Pastor Turner was born again in 1981 and rededicated her life in 1997 at Bethesda Temple of the Apostolic Faith in St. Louis, Missouri under the leadership of Bishop James A. Johnson. 

 

Pastor Debra Turner later moved on to assist other ministries in the Alton area.  She acknowledges her call to the ministry in 2003. She has served the body of Christ in many leadership positions. Pastor Turner is the author of several books.  She has written many plays for the Kingdom and loves the arts. She has an A.S. in Information Technology, B.S. in Business Administration, M.S. in Nonprofit Leadership and Management and she’s a recent graduate from the Washington University School of Law. It is her intention to use all for the Kingdom.

 

Pastor Debra Turner, a servant of Sounds from Heaven Ministry. She serves as Assistant Pastor to her leader Dr. Jacqueline M. Brock.  She thank God for the covering.  She is overwhelmingly appreciative of her trust.  She gives all glory to God for her life, family, purposes, and destiny.  Daily she strives to be a light to the world and through many trials and tribulations the Lord has kept her, and she is committed to the Kingdom of God.
